Daily hope

England was plunging down hill morally in 1737. Only a spiritual awakening could save the nation from a bloody revolution. God raised up John and Charles Wesley and George Whitfield. Whitfield preached outdoors to the neglected, unchurched miners. He also became Lady Huntingdon's chaplain and spoke to her upper-class friends in her home. Lady Huntingdon helped build 67 chapels and founded a college to train ministers.
