God is on the move.

Dear Friends,

God is on the move in amazing ways as we pray.

  • Here in Guildford, England our Boiler Room community is growing fast with new people coming to Christ.

  • Extraordinary and exciting doors are also opening in Asia right now.

  • Meanwhile on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza it’s been our best summer ever. Countless people have been blessed and hundreds of ‘Jesus Loves Ibiza’ bibles have been given away to those who wouldn’t normally go anywhere near a church.

  • In Birmingham, Alabama, where Martin Luther King Jr. was imprisoned at the height of the Civil Rights Movement, students from different ethnic backgrounds united in 24-7 prayer and the organizer said: “We know, without a doubt, that we have been carried on the backs of others who have gone before us and made a way for us.”

Thank you for being one of those people ‘making a way for us’.

At the recent conference in Scotland I outlined three ways in which we’re going to change the world over the next decade of 24-7 prayer, mission and justice. It was very moving to witness hundreds standing to commit themselves to these three priorities:

  1. Prioritising Prayer – We are blessed with Prayer Rooms all over the world and over the next ten years we’re not going to back off, because prayer is where all true transformation begins and ends.

  2. Mobilising Mission and Justice – We are also blessed with a growing network of Boiler Room communities around the world, actively reaching out to the poor and the lost. Over the next ten years we’re going to plant hundreds more of these communities

  3. Training Leaders – We are blessed with many remarkable young leaders. Over the next ten years we’re going to equip them to pioneer in every field of society.

That 24-7 gathering in Birmingham, Alabama were so inspired by the vision that they took up a spontaneous offering to bless fellow praying students in Wisconsin. Penniless young people emptied their pockets and managed to give $300 which turned out to be just the amount that the Wisconsin students had been asking the Lord for. It’s not a lot of money but they were so encouraged that there is now unprecedented prayer escalating across that State too. Generosity like this, large or small, unlocks God’s blessing and pours fuel on the fire of His purposes.

To activate our 2020 Vision we’re looking for just 300 new donors who will help us change the world by making a regular donation to 24-7 Prayer. If you agree that prayer is the key, please express your support by making a donation now. And as a token of our appreciation to new monthly donors, I’d love to bless you with one of the new 24-7 books hot-off-the-press: either Approaching God by Lisa Repko Borden or Saints by Scot Bower.

With appreciation,

Pete Greig
